AmeriCorps in Eldercare Settings can help you “do more with less”!

In these tough economic times, many providers of aging services are “doing more with less” and yet are still determined to provide the best possible care for their residents and clients. The Foundation for Long Term Care (FLTC), an award-winning research entity, can help further your mission through a grant awarded from the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) for its AmeriCorps in Eldercare Settings or ACES project. Listening Session Report Now Available

To better understand the future training and education needs for workers delivering care and services to older adults in our state, a collaboration was formed in 2006 between the Presidents Circle of the State Society on Aging of New York (SSANY) and the New York State Office for the Aging (NYSOFA). This project used a collaborative approach among state government, academia, providers and consumers to make the Listening Sessions a success. Download the full report.
