Lighthouse International – Director, Program Evaluation

The Director, Program Evaluation will provide scientific and administrative leadership for the Evaluation Division and the quality assurance program for Lighthouse International. In addition, the Director will be responsible for initiating, developing, coordinating, and publishing/disseminating results of scientific investigations while examining the processes and characteristics which influence rehabilitation outcomes.

Foundation for Long Term Care – Associate Director of Research

The Foundation for Long Term Care (FLTC), Albany NY, has a challenging position for an experienced and committed Associate Director of Research. This position demands skills in project management, staff leadership, research and grant writing. FLTC work is focused on applied research that will directly benefit providers and recipients of elder care services.

Position involves management of highly diverse funded grant projects and participation in the development of new grant proposals. The selected candidate will have (a) strong project management and leadership skills as well as demonstrated success in conducting applied research in elder care settings, (b) the ability to work collaboratively with highly professional staff, project consultants, an effective board of directors and a wide variety of elder care agencies and (c) public speaking skills. Candidates with research skills only will not be competitive. Some travel will be required. A PhD is greatly preferred.
